Mystical Palmyra's trip to this region covers many of its stunning but less known heritage and natural wonders. Travel here will not be easy considering the heat and distances, but the rewards are many. There’s the stunning Gandikota Canyon, known as the Grand Canyon of India, and its namesake Fort, ancient temples like the Pushpagiri Complex, Vaithyanatha Swamy Temple, Chenna Kesava Temple, the Vishnu shrines at Ahobilam, the Bugga Ramalingeshwara temple and Chintalarayaswamy temple at Tadipatri and Vontimitta Kodhandarama Temple, the Ameen Peer Dargah, the Siddavattam Fort and the Belum Caves, one of the largest cave systems in the country. Be sure to bring your hat, sunglasses, refillable water bottle, sturdy walking shoes and loads of energy!
