The Outlook Responsible Tourism Initiative promotes and celebrates forms of travel that care for people and the planet. We champion responsible entrepreneurs, community-led destinations, hotels and homestays, and we inspire travellers to choose journeys that create positive impact. Through summits, awards, workshops, advocacy, awareness campaigns and research, we nurture curiosity and meaningful change in the way India travels. Our storytelling and partnerships with grassroots organisations highlight tourism models that respect local knowledge, protect biodiversity and strengthen community livelihoods.

Our initiatives have created a nationwide movement with more than 50 million digital engagements, a digital community of over 15,000 responsible tourism practioners, and partnerships with more than 20 States, along with global bodies including GSTC and UNWTO.
