Greenwoods Resort is a nature stay set in a 6.5 acre forested property, surrounded by spice plantations, jungles and hills in Kerala's Thekkady. Here you wake up bird song and enjoy unblemished nature.
The resort offers luxurious rooms and suites set in cottages, with some even boasting of private plunge pools. All rooms have sit outs or balconies and guests enjoy beautiful views of the trees and woods from their rooms. The in-house restaurant serves authentic Keralan cuisine and dinners are typically accompanied by traditional Kerala art performances. There is also aa pretty coffee shop buiilt in the style of a stilt 'machaan' with thatch roof. The 'machaan' is open on the sides, so guests will feel like they are having their ccup of coffee or tea in a forest canopy!
Guests can spend many an hour exploring the wooded property. They can also go on nature walks accompanied by the in-house naturalist. There are classical and folk performances every evening. The resort can also organise cooking demonstrations that showcase local dishes.
The resort's location iin Thekkady ensures guests have a number of nature focused activities to chooose from. The Periyar tiger reserve is close by and here guests can go on nature hikes and treks, including a Cloud Walk, where guests climb up a hill trail, and a night hike.

Grrenwoods Resort has planted almost 700 trees on the 6.5-acre property. The resort is plastic-free and it serves guests RO water in vintage glass bottles.The STP water is recycled and used for watering the plants in the garden. They also have a vermi compost system.
