The Kameng River in Arunachal Pradesh, a tributary of the Brahmaputra, has been accessible for river rafting and kayaking only for around a decade. The river which winds its way through thick forests is quite remote and you will feel lucky to experience such a special area, hidden from the rest of the world. There are a few days on this trip, rafting through solid grade 4 rapids, when you will have only jungle for company and you won’t come across even the tribal villages that are the only human settlements in this part of the country. This trip is for experienced rafters and kayakers with an adventurous spirit and willingness to explore the unknown.
