Dewalokam is a working organic farm that produces all the vegetables, fruits, spices, eggs, milk and honey in a truly organic way. For them the traditional farmers, it is a way of life and not a marketing strategy. They produce more than they consume, and leave no carbon footprint after them. Bio-diversity is maintained with the help of choice Ayurvedic herbals. The organic waste is recycled with the help of fish, fowls and animals and a compost unit. Cooking gas is produced with the help of a biogas plant and solar energy is tapped for the water heating. You will find no tampering with nature at Dewalokam. The farming, gardens and the buildings are all in keeping with the landscape, with the least interference with nature. Dewalokam is supporting 26 local villagers from 20 different families.
